Ajou Health Data Science Lab is COMING SOON!

🎄 A joyful update just in time for Christmas! 🎄

I’m happy to share that I’ve been appointed as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Ajou University as the next step in my academic journey. I am deeply grateful to the many mentors, collaborators, and colleagues who have supported and encouraged me along the way. I truly could not have reached this milestone without YOU!

At Ajou University, I plan to establish the Ajou Health Data Science Lab, where our research will focus on
1) generating reliable evidence from large-scale healthcare data,
2) integrating AI and advanced analytics into clinical and population health research, and
3) building health data infrastructure that supports reproducible and impactful science.

Through this work, we hope to contribute to improving patient health and clinical decision-making. Thank you again to everyone who has been part of this journey — and I look forward to what’s ahead!

감사하게도 26년 3월부터 아주대학교 의과대학 의료정보학교실에서 조교수로 임용되어 근무를 시작하게 되었습니다.

아주대학교 의료정보학교실 소속의 의료데이터과학연구실(Ajou Health Data Science Lab)을 준비하며 아래와 같은 연구분야에 도전하려고 합니다.

연구 분야

• OMOP-CDM (EHR, 청구자료) 활용 대규모 다기관 역학연구를 통한 의학 근거 생성
• Foundation model 기반 임상예측모형 개발
• LLM / AI Agent 활용 관찰연구 자동화 프레임워크 개발
• 이외 기타 의료 데이터 활용 역학/정보학/임상 연구
